Our Company
This company was founded by a man with a vision-Ken Smith. Mr. Smith believed in the
idea that buying and wearing a hat should be a fun experience. He dreamed of owning his own store someday after he purchased
his first hat for the 1959 World Series when he went to cheer on his favorite team-the Chicago White Sox. We were founded
in 1975 when Mr. Smith was able to rally up some investors and convince them that this store would be unlike anything
they've ever seen. We still operate with Mr. Smith's ideals and passion for the business. In fact, upon his death
in 2002 the company was handed over to his son-Ken Jr. We are a strong, responsible company and we look forward to even
more growth in the future.
